This is a great opportunity to experience the various areas of Human Resources: employee relations, recruiting, compensation and payroll adminstration, benefits administration, and training and development.

Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel
Designs and conducts new employee orientation and/or training.
Assists in administration of compensation program; helps to monitor performance appraisal process.
Conducts and coordinates benefit enrollment with new employees during open enrollment
Administers and explains benefits to employees, and serves as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees.
Maintains employment files and records and compiles reports from database as needed.
Assists in organizational training and conducts new hire orientation and new hire training.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services.
Responsible for correspondence related to terminated employees (ie unemployment benefits insurance)
Maintains human resource information system records and complies reports from the database.
Recommends and coordinates employee programs, such as wellness events, seminars and company events.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent years of experience
Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
Prior experience with an HRIS database, payroll system, or timekeeping system required.
Prior experience in the administration of benefits, payroll, and compensation programs required.
Requires effective oral and written communication skills.
